OMG appoints Ian Lee as Chief Operations Officer in China

Edward Haynes replaces Lee as CFO for China of Omnicom Media Group.

As COO, Lee will help to oversee the operations of Omnicom Media group in China.In addition, he will also be tasked to improve rapid network expansion operations in mainland by developing strategies of dorsal, systems and tools. As part of its new portfolio, Lee will also be responsible for the organizational structure of the network of fine-tuning and explore possible merger and acquisition opportunities.

China Ip Elaine, CEO of Omnicom Media Group, said for the last five years had been with the Division, Lee was instrumental in the growth of its operations in China.

"Our business in China has developed tremendously last year out the back of the new business wins, including Pepsi, Danone and Unilever."The new position of Chief Operating Officer is our first step to be in tandem with our fast growing business momentum, said his appointment.
