For all media buzz surrounding the rescue miners Chileans 33, the SANS Internet Storm Center has not seen much of any search engine optimization spam.SEO spam is a popular way attackers exploit the popularity of a news event to draw in Web surfers malicious Web sites. These sites masquerade as news sites, or advertise a fake piece of information.Users more clicks, more malicious site climbs to the top of the search engine.

With history Chilean miners, however, spam SEO spotted by SANS on Google was almost nonexistent. There might be a couple reasons for this. is it possible, although unlikely, that hackers can find some inspiration in history and are less prone to take advantage of it. but what happened probably Google stepped up his game. in other words, Google has done a better job of spotting these rogue sites and their cleaning. too often, the media highlights only evil, but in this case, Google seems to deserve some credit for not allowing a popular news to wreak havoc on its users.
