Ag Goehring names Local Foods marketing specialist North Dakota Link Ag-15/10/2010
Dana Pritschet has appointed Commissioner agriculture Doug Goehring specialized local foods from the Department of agriculture North Dakota marketing.
"The initiative of local food has had an excellent start to promote the production and sale of locally grown food and encouraging North Dakotans to eat a healthier diet," said Goehring. "The considerable experience of Dana in marketing, public relations and communication will be invaluable for the Department to continue to develop and promote this statewide effort. "
In his new position, Pritschet will organize and conduct regional meetings, as well as a statewide Summit, with community leaders on the further development of the initiative of local food.You will prepare informative and promotional material, provide technical assistance to communities and coordinate efforts of farmers, buyers, suppliers and local government in the planning of projects and programmes of local food.
Pritschet was raised in a ranch in Barton and the company. holds a BS from Minot State University, where she majored in business after graduating, he worked for the fair North Dakota State for a short time before she took over the functions of education at Roosevelt Park Zoo in Minot. in 2005, she was appointed Director of the Zoo.
