The evolution of Internet marketing

Well, maybe not the world, but the Internet has clearly gained momentum as it moved from being a commercial experiment to a legitimate business engine, critics, in almost every sector of activity. Among other statistics supporting its meaning, the u.s. Census Bureau reports that United States retail sales of e-commerce in the fourth quarter of 2005 has continued its steady climb, which accounted for 2.4% of total retail sales. And it is precisely in the retail sector. However, the Web as a standalone channel presents as much responsibility as an opportunity because offers consumers the anonymity until the time of purchase.
