TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire-October 23, 2010)-first Metals Inc. (TSX VENTURE: FMA. H) ("First metals") has released this communiqué to clarify statements made in a press release issued by Kaskattama Inc., on 22 October 2010. In his version Kaskattama referenced by the fact that before metals and Kaskattama previously entered into a pre-existing agreement to complete a merger. While that statement is actually accurate and consistent with the metal before prior communication, what he did not disclose Kaskattama in its press release is that failed to meet certain conditions before 15 October 2010 established in that agreement and that metals before had notified Kaskattama that thanks to this failure that this agreement has been terminated. While in discussions concerning an extension of this agreement were before metals and Kaskattama, there is no guarantee that this agreement will be concluded successfully.
Meanwhile the first metals continues to review all options, including an ordered in liquidation of the company.
