Although optional, many users of social networking site will include their town or postcode in their profile information; and it is with this that marketers will be able to drive more carefully.
Previously users could direct marketing by cities, States and provinces.
Bonus of Facebook, of course, is that when your users select this option to make their public information contacts, they close, through the terms of service, who are interested in receiving targeted offers.
