Newstalk iPad app includes all features popular iPhone app of the station (listen live, archive, podcasts and news) in addition to streaming live video from cameras studio TV Newstalk. Newstalk TV will feature on the iPhone app today.
Newstalk iPad app also introduces a feature alerts, where listeners can choose to keep up-to-date with the latest news and Newstalk news and events.
"Apps have become an important part of our station infrastructure," said Frank Cronin Newstalk CEO. "Our official data of listenership JNLR can be high, but adding the listen live online on the Web or via our apps Android, iPhone or iPad and we substantially broader audiences.
"The fact that we are the first issuer Ireland to launch an application iPad demonstrates our progressive Strip and our commitment to our public online/mobile," he said.
The Newstalk 106-108 FM iPad app, developed by thisisaim.com is now available on iTunes App Store.
