Around the net in Online Marketing: Google to speed up the Web one page at a time

What would the editors without Google? The search giant has developed a new service that analyzes Web pages and then rewrite their code to make them work better, while serving from Google's servers. To use the service to speed page hosted, Web publishers are invited to sign up and point of entry of the Domain Name System of their site to Google, from which the service will capture the content of the site, optimize for speed, and deliver the pages to the end users.

"Visitors will continue to have access to a site in the same way as before but could see speed improvements of 25% to 60%," PCWorld writes, citing Google's claims.

The service is already offered for free to a limited number of selected, while Google webmaster is expected to announce pricing and other details in the near future. "Google has many products and initiatives to help speed up the rendering of Web pages," adds PCWorld. "Believes that a faster online experience is better for everyone, including Google."
